Welcome to LSEC, an internationally renowned Information security cluster, a not for profit organization that has the objective to promote Information Security and the expertise in BeNeLux and Europe. Founded by the University of Leuven (K.U. Leuven), supported by European Commission FP7 and leading a unique PAN European Private partnership that interacts with Public Institutions, LSEC connects security industry experts, research institutes and universities, government agencies, end users, funding bodies and technical experts who are driving national and European research agendas. LSEC & TNO support cyber security companies in the Netherlands

 IPACSO TNO BOOTCAMP2

On Friday July 14th 2015, LSEC and TNO organized the first IPACSO Cyber Security Innovation Bootcamp in the Netherlands; for a selected group of SME security innovators. The Bootcamps are a part of the IPACSO Project, aimed to support European Cyber Security and Privacy Innovations. LSEC is one of the project partners leading this project.

About IPACSO:

IPACSO is a project by two academic (Waterford Institute of Technology and the Deutsches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung) and and three industry partners (Vasco Data Security, Espion Group and LSEC), aimed at supporting the development of innovative cyber security and privacy related activities in Europe. Supported by the European Commission under the FP7 Framework Program, the aim of the project is to develop a series of support tools to help innovators to establish their own activities in the domain of Cyber Security, Privacy, Trustworthy ICT and IT security.

IPACSO aims to (1) Increase the innovation capacity of European ICT - Security companies, (2) connect innovators with potential partners, clients, researchers and investors, and (3) create visibility and credibility for cyber security & privacy innovations ‘Made in Europe’

Supporting services for European Cyber Security Companies±

  • IPACSO has created an Innovation Framework, a knowledge and decision- support framework for innovators to identify, assess and exploit market opportunities
  • IPACSO organizes Innovation Bootcamps for Cyber Security Entrepreneurs throughout Europe
  • IPACSO is the founding father of the European Cyber Security and Privacy Innovation Awards, rewarding those companies that are bolstering Europe´s cyber security landscape
