In a recent discussion with the Belgian Prime Minister's cabinet, it appaers they have forgotten to start executing the planned for cyber security activities. Maybe for the best? Just forgotten, or is there another strategy (or just the lack of a strategy) behind it?

The recent articles in Datanews - Knack  and Tijd report on the matters.

Feb 11th 2014 - The Day We Fight Back

February 11th, we join the initiative to let the world know, we have had enough with mass surveillance. Even a firm believer of technology and tools that allow for monitoring that can help with detection and prevention of crime, we strongly believe that surveillance without purpose is where we are heading to unless we all show our interest in putting an end to end. By signing the Principles, we show that we're part of a movement that knows mass surveillance is a violation of international human rights law. By subscribing below, our signature, with thousands of others, is intended to pressure governments and international institutions to forbid mass surveillance anywhere in the world.
