EAASP 2018 2

The European Association of Airport and Seaport Police [EAASP] is a nonprofit organization run by police and Law Enforcement Professionals. May 14 and 15 , the association organizes its 45th Conference at the location of the EUROPOL HQ in The Hague, Holland.

EAASP 2018 Conference: Maintaining a flexible and agile security capability that protects our ports in a changing threat environment
The theme of this year’s conference is: ‘Maintaining a flexible and agile security capability that protects our ports in a changing threat environment’. The focus of the conference will include: Physical Cyber Threats to Ports, Collaborative Working to address the Changing Threat & Risk Picture; The Counter Terrorism Threat to our Ports & Borders; followed by a Cyber Security & Counter Terrorism Exercise. Following the presentations there will be panel / breakout sessions allowing in-depth discussions and a developed understanding of current issues and security solutions.

LSEC is a partner in Takedown, a project that develops effective and efficient security solutions against organized crime and terrorist networks. As such, LSEC supports the EAASP conference and Takedown will host one of the panels on Cybercrime
