Building secure applications is quite a challenge. It requires a sound knowledge base, combined with the proper security processes. And that's precisely what SecAppDev brings to the table. SecAppDev is an intensive one-week course in secure application development. For the 15th year in a row, SecAppDev organizes a leading-edge software security course for developers. Come to learn from world-class experts how to tackle security in your organization. In 2019, we are adding a dedicated track for three one-day hands-on workshops. These workshops are the perfect place to learn real-world security, and have all your questions answered.

SecAppDev 2019

The program for SecAppDev 2019 is currently under construction. There will be two tracks featuring in-depth technical lectures, and a dedicated track with three one-day hands-on workshops. The workshop track is already complete. We're proud to have three world-renowned experts in their field teaching a full-day workshop at SecAppDev 2019. The lecture track is currently being compiled, please visit the SecAppDev website for the sessions that have already been defined, and more will follow as more details come in.

Lecture Track:
SecAppDev teaches secure software engineering, using an effective mix of theory and practice. Participants invest in a week-long journey into the intriguing world of software security, with topics ranging from integrating security into the development lifecycle, to the most recent Web security technologies. Experts from both industry and academia present current best practices for building secure applications, and reveal key advances in security research. Content-packed lectures are followed by extensive hands-on sessions, allowing participants to immediately put newly acquired skills into practice. The course is targeted at developers whose main focus is not security, but who will benefit from being security-savvy to build better and more reliable applications.

Workshop Tracks:
SecAppDev 2019 offers three one-day workshops in a third program track. These workshops are accessible to all full course attendees. Additionally, a limited number of workshop-only tickets are also available. More information about tickets is available on the registration page.
